Staro Stefanovo architectural reserve

The houses keep their authentic look. This is a rule for every new owner. The reserve has over 100 cultural monuments from the beginning and the middle of the 19th century.

The village is first mentioned, under the name Isvote, in records of the Nikopol sanjak (1515). Its Old Bulgarian origin is historically proven: it is one of the oldest settlements in the province.
